It always happens. You wake up 20 minutes before you have to be at work. You quickly gather your lunch and a few snacks, but as always, you forget the most important meal of the day: breakfast.

So, next time you crave an Orange Julius, save the calories and make this instead!

Blueberry Spinach Smoothie

I don’t know about you, but cake for breakfast seems quite tasty. Even better, a healthy smoothie that tastes like cake. There’s no sugar and totally good for you. All you need to do to make it is blend carrots, a banana, Greek yogurt, milk, pineapple, walnuts, coconut, cinnamon and nutmeg. There you have it, healthy cake in the form of a smoothie!

Spinach Avocado Smoothie

If you need a veggie boost, here it is. This smoothie is full of avocado and spinach, as well as banana, honey and non-fat plain yogurt. Blend it well and you have a nutritious snack. Instead of making it every day, this beverage can store in the refrigerator for one day. So, it’s there when you need it!

Berry Smoothie

We know how good berries are for us, they’re full of antioxidants. Sometimes they can be too tart, though. So, why not blend them together into a sweet smoothie? All you need to do to make it is blend frozen berries, blueberry yogurt, cranberry-raspberry juice, dry milk powder and some fresh blueberries. It’s the perfect low calorie snack!
When you find yourself rushing out the door, remember Dunkin Donuts isn’t going to provide you with the nutrition you need. Make one of these smoothies instead, you’ll feel much better.
